How it started
In the early ‘80s, my grandmother, Elizabeth Sheppard, whom I was named after, owned and operated a filling station in Peoria, Texas. My grandmother was known for her cream pies, brisket sandwiches, and her homemade barbecue sauce. The barbecue sauce was loved by everyone.
We have decided to carry on the tradition of making her much-loved barbecue sauce. Elizabeth’s barbecue sauce. It’s bold, tangy, and hickory in flavor. EBS, the perfect complement to any smoked or grilled meat.
We have been making the sauce for years and sharing it with family but also friends as well. We thought it was about time to take this a little more seriously and wanted to be able to share it with everyone. Since it was my grandmother’s recipe that we use , we decided to name it, “Elizabeth’s Barbecue Sauce” in her honor, and we are so excited to share it with you!
